The Bell Jar

This year I decided to be extremely cheap and make my own costume. I think its absolutely ridiculous when people spend $50-$$$ on a costume that they will only wear once. My halloween costume only cost me $2! Cheapest costume ever! It was so obscure that no one really knew who I was without me having to explain it to them....(I guess not a lot of people read?) Even though only a few people got my costume it was a huge success. Just call me Sylvia Plath.

I recently went to a Jcrew warehouse sale and it was beyond insane. I swear the crazy comes out of people when they hear the words warehouse sale. After countless hours of sifting through clothes I found a few winners. Might I add I was winning? I bought a few sweater cardigans, olive jacket, fabric/ leather tote, and striped shirt. The top three finds of the day (hands down) are the Saint James striped top, a Fjallraven Kanken backpack, and a pair of buttery soft grey suede booties. I would definitely go to a warehouse sale again, but I would probably need a strong drink beforehand. I can only imagine what a Barney sample sale is like.

A very simple outfit post (i love simplicity sometimes). Sorry for the low quality pics (i have no clue how to work my camera even though i've had it for a few years now). Today consisted of laying in bed all day coughing my lungs out..not an ideal day for anyone. I wish spring/summer would get here soon! I hate winter I feel like hibernating all day. Sorry that is my rant for today. Later on I have to go tutor then to the young adult service at my church. Oooh yea I also went to the local consignment shop that I love the other day, and found some treasures. I'll have to take some pics of them later.

I feel like Milhouse

Today feels like a stay in bed, and watch movies kind of day. The weather is icky (light snow, but freezing cold). I feel miserable (sick + killer cramps). I hate being on the big P bc I end up crying over everything, and feeling very Milhouse.

To quote the simpsons.... *Milhouse: "Bart, I don't want you to see me cry."
